Pro Tip: Mute notifications for periods of time on Mac

If you don't want to receive notifications for a specific period of time, you can select which notifications you want to mute and for how long in the Notification Center.
Mute Notifications
- Access the Notification Center by clicking the date and time in the menu bar in the upper right
- On a notification you want muted, right-click it
Select one of the following
- Mute for 1 hour
- Mute for today
- Turn Off
