This long-standing feature makes importing media quick and easy. With Image Capture you can import all of your camera’s photos and videos at once or pick and choose which photos to save on your Mac while deciding whether to keep or delete the originals one by one. You can also connect wirelessly to a scanner to import scanned documents or photos. You can also link your camera to any macOS application that you want. If you want Photoshop to open every time you connect your iPhone, Image Capture can be configured to make that happen.
