Lotus TechPros Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting Lotus TechPros’ (“COMPANY”) Internet web site (“SITE”) located at the URL https://lotustechpros.com. This Privacy Policy (“POLICY”) details certain policies implemented governing COMPANY’s collection and use of personally identifiable information (“PPI”) about you (“USERS”) of SITE and COMPANY services (“SERVICES”).

INFORMATION COLLECTION

USERS can generally visit SITE without revealing PPI about USERS. However, in certain sections of SITE, COMPANY may require USERS to submit PPI to COMPANY and COMPANY may invite USERS to submit questions, comments and request information.


Due to the nature of some SERVICES, USERS may provide COMPANY with PPI such as name, email address, username, password, address, phone number, and other contact information that USERS voluntarily transmit with communication to COMPANY.

INFORMATION USE

COMPANY may use USERS PPI to deliver SERVICES or information USERS have requested, verify USERS authority to enter certain password protected areas of SITE, verify that USERS are clients or prospective clients, send USERS information that USERS have signed up to receive, notices about COMPANY’s products and/or SERVICES that USERS have used or that may be of interest to USERS and notices about events, and improve the content and general administration of SITE and COMPANY’s SERVICES .


If USERS are COMPANY’s client, COMPANY may use USERS PPI to provide SERVICES to USERS.

WHO WE SERVE

Neither SITE nor COMPANY’s SERVICES are intended for anyone under the age of 18. COMPANY does not target its SERVICES or SITE to anyone under 18. COMPANY does not knowingly collect PPI from anyone under the age of 18.

COOKIES

COMPANY uses both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when USERS close their browser. A persistent cookie remains on USERS hard drive for an extended period of time. USERS can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in USERS Internet browser’s “help” file.


On SITE, COMPANY uses session cookies to make it easier for USERS to navigate SITE by remembering USERS locale preferences and to improve and track the overall SITE experience. For SITE, COMPANY sets a persistent cookie to authenticate USERS login and authorization to use the services. Persistent cookies enable COMPANY to track, store and target the interests of USERS to enhance the experience on SITE. If USERS reject cookies, USERS may still use SITE, but USERS ability to use some areas of SITE may be limited.

AGGREGATE INFORMATION

SITE may track the total number of visitors to SITE, the number of visitors to each page of SITE, browser type, IP addresses, EXTERNAL SITES (defined below) linked to and other aggregated data collected through COMPANY’s SERVICES and COMPANY may analyze this data for trends and statistics in the aggregate but such information will be maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and it will not contain PPI. COMPANY may use such aggregate information to analyze trends, administer SITE, track USERS movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

NON DISCLOSURE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

COMPANY does not share or sell USERS PPI to any third parties for any reason. 


COMPANY does not use texting/sms messaging for any of it’s marketing activity. 


COMPANY’s automated email activity will have clear automated opt-out options for USERS to choose from should they want to opt-out.



COMPANY will only disclose USERS PPI to any third parties if COMPANY is required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority or to assist in any investigation, to protect COMPANY’s or USERS rights or to enforce COMPANY’s terms of use. 


LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES

SITE may provide links to other web sites or resources over which COMPANY does not have control (“EXTERNAL SITES”). Such links do not constitute an endorsement by COMPANY of those EXTERNAL SITES. USERS acknowledge that COMPANY is providing these links to USERS only as a convenience, and further agree that COMPANY is not responsible for the content of such EXTERNAL SITES. USERS use of EXTERNAL SITES is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies located on the linked to EXTERNAL SITES.

SECURITY

COMPANY may employ industry standard procedural and technological measures that are reasonably designed to help protect USERS PPI from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. COMPANY may use, without limitation, firewalls, password protection, secure socket layer, and other security measures to help prevent unauthorized access to USERS PPI.

NOTICE TO EUROPEAN USERS

SITE and SERVICES on SITE are targeted for USERS in the United States of America. Any information USERS enter on SITE may be transferred outside of the European Union to the United States of America which does not offer an equivalent level of protection to that required in the European Union. In particular, USERS are advised that the United States of America uses a sectoral model of privacy protection that relies on a mix of legislation, governmental regulation, and self-regulation. Article 26 of the European Union’s Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC, 1995 O.J. (L 281) 31) allows for transfer of personal data from the European Union to a third country if the individual has unambiguously given his consent to the SERVICES, USERS consent to the transfer of all such information to the United States of America which may not offer an equivalent level of protection to that required in the European Union and to the processing of that information by COMPANY on its servers located in the United States of America as described in this POLICY.
