Your Mac can show you how much storage space is being used by various categories of files, and how much space is available for additional files.
Access Storage Availability
- Click the Apple menu
- Select System Settings
- Click General in the sidebar
- Click Storage on the right
- For earlier versions than macOS Ventura: Click the Apple menu > About This Mac, then click Storage
